#063 – Mt. Huo 火山 – 3,257m

Surrounded by rivers and aboriginal communities, the name of Mt. Huo (火山) can literally be translated as “Fire Mountain” or “Volcano” due to the finely crushed gravel located at the peak.

Located on the unpopular and self-contained Ganzhouwan Traverse (干卓萬斷), Mt. Huo is usually summited on the third day of the route with light packs and is a pleasant peak to reach.
