Mt. Mu (牧山) is 3,241m high and is located along the famous Ganzhouwan Traverse (干卓萬斷), and is famous for the large pond located just below the base of the peak.
With its shallow bamboo trail, lack of trees and boulders, and It looks like a vast pasture, and broad, gentle peak, Mt. Mu is the easiest peak to summit along the route, and will be passed over by all hikers on their way out and back to Mt. Huo (火山).
