Introduction to Jiqi Beach (磯崎海水浴場)
Located in Fengbin Township (豐濱鄉) of Hualien County (花蓮縣) on the East Coast of Taiwan, is the sleepy village of Jiqi (磯崎). Jiqi is a beach break good for beginners with waves that are average at. While the waves here have been described as “sloppy and gutless”, the break can come alive on a SE typhoon swell.
