With an elevation of 302 meters, Nanshijiaoshan is a short but steep hike up a mountain side that is dotted with various temples. So it’s not only only hikers that frequent this area, but also believers making pilgrimages to the areas shrines and holy places. It’s an animated area making it a short, but fun hike that has a bit of a cultural flair to it.
Dadongshan (大棟山) is listed at #015 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳) and is located in Taoyuan (桃園市),
While this trail is slighly longer in distance than other Xiao Bai Yue, it is really a great trail hike accessible from public transit in Taiwan.
Tukuyue (土庫岳) is listed at #014 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Shengken District (深坑區) in New Taipei City (新北市), Tukuyue is about a 30 minute drive or 1 hour on public transit from Taipei Main Station.
Nangangshan (南港山) is listed at #013 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Nangang District (南港區) in Taipei City (台北市), Nangang Mountain is very accessible from public transportation and is only a 5 minute walk from an Xiangshan MRT Station.
Xizhi Dajianshan (汐止大尖山) is listed at #012 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Xizhi District (汐止區) in New Taipei City (新北市), Dajianshan is only 460m and offers great views of to the peak at 460m, you can rest and enjoy amazing views of the surrounding area, including Neihu and Taipei 101.
Jiangziliaoshan (姜子寮山) is listed at #011 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Qide District (七堵區) in Keelung City, (基隆市), Jiangziliaoshan is located less than 1 hour from Taipei Main Station. This is Xiao Bai Yue 小百岳 is located along the north coast of Taiwan.
Wufenshan (五分山) is one of Taiwan’s top 100 suburban hiking trails called Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳).
This hike isn’t too challenging but does require hikers to have moderate levels of fitness.
This is a perfect day trip from Taipei and surrounding areas.
Jiantanshan) (劍潭山) is listed at #009 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Zhongshan District (中山區) in Taipei City (台北市), Jiantanshan is located about 15 minutes drive from Taipei Main Station.
There are stunning views across the mountain, north over downtown Taipei and west towards Guanyin Mountain (觀音山) in Wugu District.
Daluntoushan (大崙頭山) is listed at #008 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳) and is located in in Taipei City (台北市). With great views, lots of varying terrain, this is a great day trip from Taipei city.
Hongdanshan (紅淡山) is listed at #007 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Ren’ai District (仁愛區) in Keelung City (基隆市), Hongdanshan is located less than 15 drive from downtown Keelung or less than a one hour drive from Taipei, Taiwan’s capital city.
This is a fantastic family hike with great views of Keelung and surrounding area!
