How to Get to Longdong (龍洞)

Longdong is accessible by both public transportation and car, located about an hour’s drive from Taipei.

By Public Transportation

  1. From Taipei: Take a train to Keelung or Ruifang Station, then transfer to bus 791 or 1811, which will take you directly to Longdong. The total journey can take up to 2 hours, depending on connections.
  2. Bus Directly from Taipei: Alternatively, direct buses to Longdong are available from Taipei City, particularly from the Taipei City Hall Bus Station. The direct bus journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

By Car

Driving from Taipei, take the National Freeway 1 (Zhongshan Highway) towards Keelung and exit at the Ruifang Interchange. Follow Provincial Highway 2 eastwards along the coast to Longdong. The drive offers scenic views of the coastline and takes about an hour, traffic permitting.
