Multi-Day Hikes
Jade Mountain Main Peak – Stand atop Taiwan’s highest peak at sunrise after a 3-day trek with Paiyun Lodge and indigenous village overnights.
Jiaming Lake Trek – Visit the sapphire Jiaming Lake on a 4-day trek with two overnights in mountain huts. Greet sunrise over Jiaming, hike through juniper forests, and hopefully witness a sea of clouds.
Snow Mountain Trek – Summit Taiwan’s second-highest peak on a 3-day trek through glacial valleys, black forests, and along sunrise ridge-lines.
Mt. Nanhuda Trek – Embark on a 5-day hut-to-hut alpine expedition across cirques and ridge-lines to reach Mt. Nanhuda’s summit – the fifth tallest in Taiwan.
Dabajianshan Adventure Trek – Hike deep into Shei-Pa National Park and experience Taiwan’s most iconic barrel-shaped peak on a 3-day mountain adventure.
Overnight Hikes and Cultural Tours
Walami Trail Adventure – Cross suspension bridges, explore Japanese-era ruins, and overnight in Walami Cabin along Taiwan’s most famous historic trail – The Batongguan Traversing Trail. (Some 2025 dates remaining)
Tjuvecekadan, Hot Springs & Alangyi Historic Trail – Visit one of Taiwan’s “potential” World Heritage Sites, a remote indigenous Paiwan village before relaxing in hot springs. The following day, hike one of Taiwan’s last, undeveloped coastlines along the Alangyi Historic Trail.
Syakaro Historic Trail, Smangus & Giant Trees – Follow the historic Syakaro Trail to Smangus, Taiwan’s most remote Indigenous village, and marvel at ancient cypress giants.
Yuanzui, Qingjing and Hehuanshan N. Peak – Tackle Yuanzui’s dramatic ridge, rest in rustic Qingjing comfort above 3,000m. Follow it up with a summit of Hehuanshan North Peak with its sweeping Central Mountain vistas.
Tonghou Traversing Trail – Hot Springs – Matcha Mountain – Hike a stunning riverside thru-hike and summit the iconic Matcha Mountain, with hot spring relaxation in between.
Caoling – Hot Springs – Taipingshan (Snow Trip!) – Walk the 200-year-old Caoling Historic Trail, soak in Jiaoxi hot springs, and ride Taipingshan’s famous Bong Bong Train into misty cypress forests.
Scheduled Day Trips
Hehuanshan North Peak – A true Sea-to-Sky experience. Enjoy a high-altitude climb to sweeping Central Mountain Range vistas on this classic one-day Hehuanshan summit adventure. (Some 2025 dates remaining)

Southern Explorer (8D / 7N – 440km / 3000m) – Experience southern Taiwan’s best cycling and scenery. Explore coastlines, climb mountains, discover indigenous tribes, and savour fresh local cuisine, all while enjoying the journey from the saddle.
Peaky Climbers (7D / 6N – 507km / 11183m): Designed for those who seek the ultimate challenge and real achievement. The climbs are demanding, the descents thrilling, and the scenery spectacular at every turn.
Coasts & Valleys (9D / 8N – 720km / 11000m): Starting from Taipei, ride to the southern tip of Taiwan on a fully-supported cycling tour of the entire island of Taiwan. Challenging, but an epic tale.
Cross-Mountain Spine (8D / 7N – 555km / 8400m): For those wishing to truly test themselves on two wheels! Expect challenging climbs, quiet roads, flowing descents, and stops at hot springs. Good food will fuel this journey!

Our Jiaming Lake Trek is a 4-day / 3-night tour to Taiwan’s most renowned mountain lakes. Situated at 3,300m above sea level on the southeastern side of Sancha Mountain (三叉山), is a mountain lake that holds great natural allure.

Snow Mountain Trek
Dreaming of topping Taiwan’s second-highest peak? Join our Snow Mountain Trek over 3-days and 2-nights. Trek through the famed “black forest”, summit at sunrise for jaw-dropping panoramas. Stay in high-altitude camps under the stars, soak aching muscles in a private hot spring on the return trip.

Mt. Nanhuda 5-Day Trek
Take on the ultimate alpine adventure with a 5-day Mt. Nanhuda trek. This 2-day / 1-night is one of our favourites. Begin with a visit to one of Taiwan’s ‘potential’ World Heritage Sites, a remote Paiwan village with over 50 slate stone buildings. Unwind at hot spring retreat and the next day, trek the remote Alangyi Historic Trail with an Indigenous guide.

Walk through centuries of history along the 22km Syakaro Historic Trail, past Japanese-era outposts, 150m suspension bridges and bamboo forests. Overnight with Atayal hospitality in remote Smangus. Day two, stand dwarfed among one of Taiwan’s last ancient cypress tree groves.

Mt. Yuanzui Ridge, Qingjing & Hehuanshan North Peak
Embark on a thrilling 2‑day alpine journey scrambling the craggy ridges of 2,180 m Yuanzui Mountain before spending an overnight above 3,000m in Qingjing. Follow it up by ascending Taiwan’s 3,422 m Hehuanshan North Peak with seemingly endless panoramas of Taiwan’s Central Mountains.

Tonghou – Hot Springs – Matcha Mountain
Journey through one of northern Taiwan’s most stunning thru-hikes that hugs a river’s edge along a trail once walked by Atayal hunters and Japanese officials. A quick transfer gets you to your hot spring hotel in time for a soak before heading to town. Next morning, summit the iconic Matcha Mountain with its stunning views and ridge-lines before returning to Taipei.

Walk the 200-year-old Caoling Historic Trail through a forest path and meet sweeping Pacific views. Explore Daoist temples and grab dinner before relaxing in your hot spring hotel. Head to Taipingshan National Forest and walk the World’s First Certified Quiet Trail before jumping on the famed Bong Bong Train which winds its way along a mountain’s edge to misty ancient cypress forests.
