Hiking Feifengshan (飛鳳山)

Feifengshan Trail (飛鳳山) is listed at #027 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Qionglin Township (芎林鄉) in Hsinchu County (新竹縣), this itinerary takes a 6km looped route that incorporates both the Feifengshan Trail and the Guan Ri Ping Historic Trail (觀日坪古道) and includes climbing three small peaks along the way.

Hiking Xizhoushan (溪洲山)

Xizhoushan (溪洲山) is listed at #022 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Xizhoushan (溪洲山) can be found in Longtan District (龍潭區) in Taoyuan City (桃園市).

The Xizhou Trail is a short hike located on the north side of Shimen Reservoir in Taoyuan City, opposite Shimen Mountain across from the famous Shimen Dam. This area is also a very popular bird watching destination in northern Taiwan.

Hiking Jinmianshan (金面山)

Jinmianshan (金面山) is listed at #021 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳) and is located in Daxi District (大溪區) in Taoyuan (桃園市). The trail head is difficult to get to by public transit. It is said that Jinmianshan has a sharp structural shape that resembles a bird’s beak and the mountain is also known by locals as “Niaozui Mountain” or “Bird’s Mouth Tip”.

Hiking Shizitoushan (獅仔頭山)

Shizitoushan (獅仔頭山) is listed at #020 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Xindian District (新店區) in New Taipei City (新北市), Shizitoushan is a fantastic urban mountain easily accessible from downtown Taipei.

Shizaitou Mountain is located in the mountainous area of ​​Xindian District south of Taiwan’s Capital, Taipei. This mountain is named after the fact that the mountain is believed to look like a crouching lion. It is the highest peak in Xindian District at 857 meters above sea level.

#018: Tianshangshan (天上山)

Tianshangshan (天上山) is listed at #018 of the Xiao Bai Yue (小百岳). Located in Tucheng District (土城區) in New Taipei City (新北市), Tianshangshan, aka Emperor Mountain, is a fun, yet pretty developed area for a hike. There are lots of spots that offer some great views and is a very popular area during the Tung Flower blooming season between April and May.
