#029 – Mt. Dabajian 大霸尖山 – 3,490m

Without a doubt, Mt. Dabajian (大霸尖山) is one of the most famous, popular, and beautiful peaks in Taiwan, and it’s not hard to see why.

With its face on Taiwan’s 500NT currency bill, its distinctive barrel shape, and its significant aboriginal importance, it’s easy to see why so many people have and will continue to rank this as their favorite Bai Yue.

Mt. Dabajian 大霸尖山 is ranked #028 of Taiwan’s Top 100 Mountains.

#028 – Mt. Sancha 三叉山 – 3,496m

Located directly next to Jiaming Lake (嘉明湖), this Bai Yue is commonly climbed by hikers who are visiting the most popular and beautiful lake in Taiwan.

Mt. Sancha (三叉山) and Jiaming Lake can be hiked via several different traditional Bai Yue routes, but the most common is the 3-day up and down route to the lake itself.

Mt. Sancha (三叉山) is ranked #028 of Taiwan’s Top 100 Mountains.

#022 – Mt. Nanhubei 南湖北山 – 3,534m

Located in front of the famously technical Five Rock Peak Cliffs (五岩峰斷崖)  Mt. Nanhubei (南湖北山) is located on the North First Section of Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range (北一段), which runs in a giant loop over typically six or seven days (depending on a hiker’s fitness).

Mt. Nanhubei is ranked #022 of Taiwan’s Top 100 Mountains.
